Good thinking. Designed.

Being an UX Lead / Senior Product Designer and all… people often ask me:

‘But what do you actually do?’

And to be honest I still don’t have a straight one sentence elevator pitchy-like answer to that question. So most of the time I start blurting generic stuff out like:

‘User Experience Design is a multi-disciplinary field where you use design thinking to create meaningful solutions for end users. You know. Ehm... Products...’

Silence for just one second too long...

‘Sure, but what do you actually DO?’

So yes, this remains a tough question. And I love what I do. But how to explain and show it? How to go down from that strategic level to pixeldepth and back up again? Present the whole. The height, depth, breadth and length of it all.

I believe there is only one tool capable of telling my professional story just like that. It's Miro. So here’s a board in progress. A living document if you will. It shows my projects most precious to me from the past 20 years mapped to the relevant design spaces.

I call it GOOD THINKING. DESIGNED.

The board is a bit of a load. I know. But hé, it covers two decades! I will add some more insights and detailed descriptions over time. Happy zooming!
